Our Favorite Banana Bread

34

I love everything about banana bread, it's one of those things that has been around forever, but you just never get tired of!  So, it's no wonder I'm not disappointed when we have several bananas that have been around a bit too long and are looking spotted.  Let it be known, though, I do not use them when they are spotted.  I wait until the peels turn black.  That's right.
Completely black.
That's when the starch in the banana has turned almost completely to sugar, making it perfect for delicious banana bread.  When I make this, my kids can't get enough of it!
